Local Restaurants & Places to Eat around Great Yarmouth

Chico's Restaurant

Chico's Restaurant, 60 Marine Parade, Great Yarmouth NR30 2EJ, UK – 01493 856222

Cannot praise this restaurant highly enough. Just enjoyed my husband's belated birthday dinner (thanks to the snow last week). Food was exceptional. Portions huge. Service efficient but not intrusive. Very friendly atmosphere. Made us feel very welcome. Will definitely recommend to friends and will be visiting again. To finish off, the best liqueur coffee I've ever had. (And I've had a few!) Well done Chico's.

One of the best Greek restaurants we have been too.Good food 🍲 and great staff/owners. This place is a rare gem in the Great Yarmouth culinary scene. Would recommend this restaurant to everyone we will come back soon.

Pamela’s Restaurant

Wellington Rd, Great Yarmouth NR30 3JJ, UK – 01493 331000

What a find! We loved it all. The scallops were divine- we chose the Hake as our main and also baked Alaska as dessert. All lush. Great service and ambience. Comprehensive wine list and the Champagne was sheer luxury. A super evening.

We cannot recommend this restaurant enough. Myself, hubby and my 2 best friends came here for my birthday and were treated so well and I was even surprised by a birthday cake from them. The service, ambience and food is always first class and my friend even had a signature cocktail made for her when she mentioned how much she loved different rums. If ever you want an evening to remember I would recommend Pamela's every time. We can't wait to return!

Pizza Hut Restaurants

Gapton Hall Rd, Great Yarmouth NR31 0NL, UK – 01493 664366

The staff are very friendly and helpful. We had some cheesy fries which were not to our taste and the waitress took it away instantly. Very quickly the manager came over and offered his apologies. He agreed the chips were a bit off and recommended some other chips to try or offered to take it off of our bill instead. There was no quibble or arguments and he was very friendly about it. The ice-cream factory was awesome! I would come back in a heartbeat.

I just love the buffet offering at Pizza Hut. From opening time until 3pm on weekdays only and except Bank Holidays (local variations so best to check your local Hut). At the time or writing (Dec 2017) £6.50 buys you unlimited access to the pizza hotplate which can include half a dozen different toppings and crusts; pasta with two different sauces and the well stocked and fresh salad bar with optional dressings. Soft drinks are available on an unlimited basis too. The water chiller and ice machine are offered free of charge. Main menu side orders and desserts are able to be added to your order for lunchtime buffet. The regular menu is always available for customers who prefer that rather than the buffet The restaurants are smartly presented and the staff welcoming, friendly, efficient and upbeat. Whether you are dining alone or with the family or with a larger party of friends or colleagues, if pizza is your choice for lunch or dinner a Pizza Hut is hard to beat. Keep an eye on your receipt too. There's often an opportunity to be had on there for a discount on your next visit.
